Needing a new copy is a sure sign of a favorite book. I have a few like that on my keeper shelf. 😉

I loved Kresley Cole book Lothaire from her Immortals After Dark series. Wonderful story telling ability. She was able to take a character that’s “evil” and give him a story where you are rooting for him! Great series!!!
    Thanks for the contest.

Lothaire was a superb book. I loved how Cole handled those characters and his growth into a hero.

My favorite was In Death series by JD Robb , Dark Hunter series by Sherrilyn Kenyon and Guild Hunter Series by Nalini singh.

  12. Renee B

My favorite book is hands down… Shelly Laurenston’s “Beast Behaving Badly” It has one of my favorite characters; Blayne Thorpe. She is unique to shifters in that she is a hybrid, but has such a personality that everyone loves her. And Bo who is her beau is her complete opposite but he does the things she asks him to do because he fell in love with her and didn’t realize it. All of Shelly’s books have characters you can really like, HOT sex and a HEA. that does it for me. This is a book I go back to time and time again to read. I’ve probably read it about 20 times since it first came out. I have all her other books and read them, but I always come back to this one if I want humor, sex and love.

  13. Juana Esparza

My favorite book is Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

  15. Lisa Hackney

wow, hard question. I have favorites in all different genres. If I had to pick one, I would go with A Stroke of Midnight by Laurel K Hamilton. Her development of the characters is amazing, and all of the books in the Merideth Gentry series are just hot, hot, hot. All of that aside, it is my favorite because of how it came into my life. My mother was in hospice dying from a MRSA infection, and I was staying in her room at my grandmother’s while I was in town. I found the book in her chest, and decided to give it a try, as I had never tried paranormal romance before. To my amazement, the book was so engrossing that, when I was reading it, I completely forgot that I was dealing with my mother’s death, and was whisked away to a world of magic.

    1. Regan

That is the wonder and beautiful power of a great story. I’m sorry for your loss, Lisa, and so glad the discovery of that book gave you a respite in such a tough time.

  16. My favourite series (sorry, can’t pick just one!) is the Black Dagger Brotherhood by JR Ward!

    1. Regan
